Brenton and Chrissy

Brenton was born with Duchenne muscular dystrophy and was not expected to live to adulthood. Defying the odds, Brenton has exceeded numerous life milestones but didn’t expect to fall in love and marry – until disability support worker Chrissie came into his life. The couple clicked and their wonderful friendship soon grew into love.

So Brenton surprised Chrissie with a marriage proposal just prior to Christmas 2019 and together they began planning their wedding and they soon contacted us with an April 2020 target. But then of course, COVID hit and their dream wedding had to be postponed until the 12 August when generous suppliers jumped in to finally get Brenton and Chrissie married.
