Aaron and Shae

Aaron and Shae met at a singles social night back in 2018 and very quickly fell in love, a love that has never faded over the years. When thinking back to when they first met, Aaron remembers thinking that Shae was tall, that she had beautiful eyes and her warmth shone through…and that she was beautiful of course. Shae’s first thoughts of Aaron were that he was really sexy and she couldn’t believe someone like him would be interested in someone like her.

Sadly, in 2020, Aaron was diagnosed with terminal lung cancer and after undergoing radiation and chemotherapy he is now receiving palliative care. With a life expectancy of only weeks, Aaron and Shae wanted to get married as soon as possible so that they could spend what time they have left together as a married couple. It was at this point that My Wedding Wish was contacted and a wedding was pulled together in just 5 days with suppliers kindly offering to donate their services to this amazing couple on their wedding day of the 8 November 2020.
