O’Neil and Kirsty

The My Wedding Wish crew received an application from Kirsty and O’Neil and jumped straight into action. The groom, O’Neil, has metastatic bowel cancer which has spread to the abdomen, he has recently had his second surgery and held off his chemotherapy for a week so he could marry his love! What a gorgeous loved up couple!

O’Neil has so much personality – he’s upbeat and happy and was an absolute joy on the day. When he tried to thank me for organising the wedding, I told him, “See that smile on your face! That’s thanks enough!” What a honey 🙂 The My Wedding Wish crew wishes you both the very best for a beautiful loved up future together.

As usual we had an fabulous bunch of suppliers who jumped right in to help Kirsty and O’Neil have the best day of their lives. We had some old faves, plus some new faves – all amazing wedding vendors, who I personally feel honoured to know. Celebrant, Kathryn Ford delivered a lovely personalised ceremony that was enjoyed by 20 of the couple’s closest friends and family. Between them, Kirsty and O’Neil have five children who were all there on the day and participated in the ceremony with a sweet sand ritual.
