When Brooke’s sister phoned My Wedding Wish telling of Rob and Brooke’s plight, CEO Lynette just knew we could help pull something a little special together for the couple. 41-year-old Rob is diagnosed with Glioblastoma Multiforme, and after recent surgery and chemo the cancer still progressed quickly with no other treatment options available; the couple knew that getting married was now their priority. Rob and 37-year-old Brooke were comfortable with a wedding at the NSW Registry Office, and that’s really all they’d had time to plan. Family arranged Brooke’s flowers … how could My Wedding Wish help? We had three days to pull this together, and that included a weekend, but we knew we’d be able to create a little bit of magic for the couple.

As per the couple’s request, we put the call out for a photographer, hair and makeup and transport and of course generous suppliers were keen to help with lovely touches for the day.
